Material and Uses

Using EPS (or Expanded Polystyrene) foam, often called 'bead foam', A-FOAM® can create lightweight and affordable solutions for both interior and exterior use.  As a closed cell insulation plastic, EPS has a high strength to weight ratio making it an ideal choice for commerical and domestic applications.

- Standard material density is one pound/cubic foot.  Higher densities are available.

- Lengths available are 48" or 96".

- EPS has a flame spread of 25 or less (Class 1 rating) and does not support fungal or bacterial growth.

A large catalogue of molds are available including; crowns, keystones, windows sills and surrounds, column wraps with caps and bases.
